Over the years, I've spent a lot of time architecting cloud-based, on-premises and hybrid solutions for large corporations all the way down to start-ups. Recently I've helped companies with their AI strategies, platforms and go-to-market execution plans. My philosophy is simple: apply the Lean Start-Up principles to every project I work on. What exactly does that look like?
I enjoy driving innovation to solve challenging problems for customers with AI and Machine Learning needs. My most recent product is Red Hat OpenShift Data Science, a managed cloud service for data scientists and developers of intelligent applications. One of my current projects is Open Data Hub, a community-driven open source AI-as-a-service platform for OpenShift, an enterprise distribution of Kubernetes. I also love working with hardware and software vendors to bring their innovative technologies to OpenShift's AI ecosystem.
My other passion is teaching under-served youths about how they can find a career in the software industry. I enjoy showing them the different career paths, connecting them with local entrepreneurs, and working on projects together in a real-world environment. My goal is to help youths who don't typically have opportunities to learn about technology.
I'm responsible for Red Hat OpenShift Data Science, a managed cloud service for data scientists and developers of intelligent applications, and Open Data Hub, a community-driven AI-as-a-service platform on OpenShift. Open Data Hub also operates in data centers where we process and store large amounts of data per day for AI workloads. Data scientists, data engineers, site reliability engineers and application developers use the tools in Red Hat OpenShift Data Science and Open Data Hub to analyze data and build services. Additionally, I work with hardware and software partners to grow an ecosystem of certified AI technologies optimized to run on open source technology.
